This week, I was inspired to create an adventure clothing brand designed for pro hikers: Borealis Adventure Co. I wanted to showcase how this brand's products are high-quality, built to last, and ready for any rugged adventure.
The Fonts:
I chose Heinberg for the heading font because it's the perfect blend of rugged & textured. It feels like a well-worn pair of hiking boots. Pairing this with Proxima Nova makes it a super readable e-com brand, with a TON of rugged personality.

- subheading + body fonts: Proxima Nova (I think this is included in Canva Pro!)
The Colors:
I started playing with the 3 shades of blue, and the rest of the palette came so naturally. I love the denim vibes of the blues, combined with the pops of natural colors in the rest of the palette. It's the perfect blend of cool + warm rugged colors.
The Graphics:
After my original website design, I felt like the images were too crisp and clean. I found this great pack of PNG film overlays that worked PERFECTLY to give the brand images a more well-worn feel.
